Enter and Tab that know the element
A template loaded at start makes Enter and Tab instant and contextual, the way Final Draft does it. Capitals for headings, characters and transitions come by themselves.

Paste a script from anywhere, or import a Final Draft, Fade In, Celtx or Fountain file. Every line gets its element and its style.
Title page, scene numbers, page numbers
A title page set the way readers expect, scene numbers you can add and remove, page numbers with the period, Letter or A4.
Script Stats and Scene Board
Pages, scenes, cast, locations, day and night, the longest scene, in the panel and as a PDF. A board of your scenes in the browser, and the document follows the order you give it.
Table Read and Screenplay Poster
A different voice for each character, the narrator for the action, your whole script read out loud in the panel. And a movie poster drawn from your script, the one a festival would print.
PDF, Final Draft, Fountain, Print View
Word renders the PDF with your styles. The .fdx opens in Final Draft as is. The .fountain is plain text you can keep forever. Print View turns the pages like a bound script, in your browser.

Write together, in Word
Put the .docx in OneDrive or SharePoint and share it: everybody writes in the same script at once, with Word’s own comments, suggestions and live cursors. Each co-writer installs the add-in once, and the format is in the file, so it stays right for everyone.

Two files go into place: the template Word loads at start, and the add-in that draws the ribbon group and the side panel. The installer puts them there for you.

- Quit Word.
- Open the disk image and double-click the package. Both are signed and notarized by Apple: they open without a warning, and it installs for your account.
- Open Word. The Screenplay group is in the Home tab, with a Panel button for the pane.

Questions.
Does it change my document?
It adds six paragraph styles and uses them. Turn it off, remove it, the document stays a normal Word document in Courier 12 with its styles.
Does it work offline?
Enter, Tab, capitals and the styles come from the template and work without a connection. The pane needs one.
Word for the web, Word on iPad?
Not yet. The template that makes writing instant only exists on the desktop.
Can several of us write in the same script?
Yes. Save the document in OneDrive or SharePoint, turn AutoSave on (top left of Word), share it with your co-writers. Everyone who has installed the add-in gets Enter and Tab; someone opening it in Word for the web sees the script correctly formatted and can write in it, without the automatic Enter and Tab. Comments and Track Changes are Word’s own.
