Questions people actually ask

The price, the free plan, and what happens the day you stop paying. If your question is not here, ask it.

Ask your question
Add-on or extension, which one should I pick?
The add-on lives in the Google Docs sidebar and works in any browser: it is the safe, universal choice, and it is the cheaper of the two. The extension runs in Chrome and adds the live writing workflow, where Enter and Tab format the script as you type: it is the one I use to write. Both are free to start, so try them before you decide.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then you go back to the free plan. Your script stays exactly as it is: it lives in your Google Drive, not with us, and the formatting already applied never disappears.
Do you see or store my script?
No. Your script stays in your own Google Drive, behind the same security as Gmail. We never store it, we never train anything on it.
Do I pay twice if I use both the extension and the add-on?
Each tool has its own subscription: $5.99 a month for the Docs add-on, $7.99 for the Chrome extension. Most people write with one of them, not both. Whichever you pick works on every computer you write on, and the price you subscribe at is the price you keep.
