These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Screenplay Editor, a Google Docs add-on and Chrome extension for screenplay formatting. By installing or using Screenplay Editor, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Screenplay Editor is a Google Docs add-on and Chrome extension that provides professional screenplay formatting tools, including automatic formatting, character management, scene navigation, and export capabilities. The software operates within Google Docs and Google Drive.
2. Subscription
Screenplay Editor offers a free plan with core formatting features and a Pro plan at $5/month, billed through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Pro unlocks advanced features including AI Script Doctor, Final Draft (.fdx) export, scene numbers, production breakdown, AI Table Read, and watermark-free PDF export.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible via Settings in the sidebar. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free plan.
No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. Your scripts are never affected by plan changes. They remain in your Google Drive.
